Just a small simple "hidden gem" channel with little to no editing with various vehicles I have taken video clips of. My most earliest of videos had to be compressed at the time due to slower internet connection (and I don't want to re-upload them again due to chronological order mess up).
1944 North American P-51D Mustang "Gunfighter"
This is P-51D-25NA "Gunfighter" serial number 44-73264 at the Inglewood, California North American plant in March of 1945. Later in the month it was built, it was shipped over to England to be assigned to the Eighth Air Force, AKA the Mighty Eighth. It came back to the US in July of 1945 and assigned to Olmstead Field in Pennsylvania. It went to the National Guard in 1947 and switched between units in Wyoming, New Mexico, Illinois and Kentucky. Her military career ended in September of 1957 and was sold in the civilian market as surplus while being dropped from the USAF inventory.
It was acquired by the CAF in 1970 and in 1977 was named Gunfighter. It had a crash in 1981 and was badly damaged but was rebuilt using parts from 44-73273/N200DD into Gunfighter II. Not sure if this is when it was modified to included a second seat where the radio gear and fuselage fuel tank or if that happened at a later time.
(first clip has the song from A Charlie Brown Christmas is the eighth studio album by the American jazz pianist Vince Guaraldi who had the band Vince Guaraldi Trio)

Operation Thunderstrike (US Army Live Fire Demo)
Переглядів 8242 місяці тому
2024 Operation Thunderstrike at Fort Moore (formally Fort Benning) during the Armor and Calvary Collection Open House. Thunderstrike took place just after the collection main building was closed (but I had gotten to my seat at around 2:30 pm- I didn't want to stand or sit down in the sun). Two soldiers (dressed in period clothing) came riding horses, then a scout party of US Army troops came ru...
1958 MacMinn LeMans Coupe and 1947 Timbs Special (the video thumbnail car)
Переглядів 7203 місяці тому
Two very unique cars in this video (1947 Tims Special shown in video thumbnail). The MacMinn LMC (LeMans Coupe) was a dream by Strother MacMinn who in 1958 envisioned what an American LeMans coupe racing at the 24 hours of LeMans would look like. Strother MacMinn was an art professor at the Art Center College of Design in California and made 7 bodies (3 were actually built and running the one y...

Mercedes Benz 300SL "Gullwing"

Im not totally sure (obviously didn't ask) if this is an authentic body or a replica body on this 300SL but I know the drive train is totally modified (no inline 6 cylinder) but I took this video simply because it had awesome sound. Not sure of the drivetrain or engine specs.
1929/1933 Stutz DV-32 "Brisson"
Переглядів 3073 місяці тому
This Stutz is interesting, has a replica body but the engine and frame are all Stutz, 1929 frame and 1933 (322ci DOHC inline 8 engine making over 200 hp at 4300 rpms). Its a high performance Stutz at (the time of course, 1930s) that has a body made to copy the 1931/1932 Brisson Catteneo LeMans Car. To me it sounded amazing, it was doing demos for future prospect buyers I believe.

Maybe the best car ever made imposing in every way(dimensions,5 tons heavy,400 hp for that time etc…),but made in totally wrong time and for wrong people…
This is a pre-Tesla Cybertruck merged with Roadster
Beautiful BM Chevelle. I'd have one in my garage if i ever won the lotto.
👍🏁🏁👍
Thanks for recording this, amazing car great vid!
Another reason why I love the 80's era so much what a beast of a machine.
If Nascar set the standard by these cars rather than the pieces of crap they use today there would be a lot more viewership and it wouldnt be a dying breed.
Gunfighter was manufactured in 1944, but cool video 👍🏻. Just saw it today in Schenectady NY such an awesome plane.
Hitler‘s car, which was named after a jewish woman.
That's still what I think of when I think "race car."
I went to elementary school with his georgios daughter.
Desing by adrian newey💥
Such an impressive machine. Fifi is cool AF!!
Great job getting both exhaust sides. The Packard V-1650 is music to my ears
Fantastic work on the front facing cold start
Really a beautiful plane.
Amazing plane! The big four propellars are really impressing.
Killer man. It's impressive seeing these flying machines and thinking of their capabilities and use in the battlefield.
I am glad I came across your channel. You let the cars and planes do your talking. The sound of FiFi was captured well and a true delight.
I am enjoying the wide range of vintage planes and your sketches about them. Good job.
Ау каква величествена машина ❤❤❤
Very nice! I like your transition wipes.
Impressive, very nice. The R-2600s do not disappoint. The only thing you need is an external mic with a windscreen 👌
I can only be jelly of your pro setup
I am enjoying your flight videos and appreciate the good descriptions that you have researched. Thanks for the additional content and transportation variety.
I like variety... and history, but im a pro photo guy first, videos are secondary to me, i do them for sound and movement and never plan any of them in advance, just take them as I see fit.
fix the engine.idiot

I exactly want this... my dream CAR... Only this, no other model of Cadillac
Talk about advances in technology. only a decade separates the B17G and the B52.
It is fantastic and thank you so much for this nice video. The Fortress is always spectacular
cool, twofer take offs.
This video was a great up close and personal view of a beautiful plane. Very interesting historical explanation. You also got a bonus bi plane landing!🤗
This video was so good I watched it in 360p for the full WWII experience. Great job including the takeoff
You're a true youtube watcher and commentor, much praise!
Did you watch it in black and white? streaming through a projector? With a commentary by a guy with a nasally transatlantic accent?
@@DarkElfDiva Yes, yes, and no. A 5-PP-A projector was used, but no commentary was added so that the sanctity of the audio would not be compromised.
I think I touched a nerve
Wonder how much it went for
My dad took me to see Tommy and Big Daddy at a match race in Norwalk in '71, I still have the pictures
Stunning.
Back in '79 I had a 68 396 Camaro with this cam in it. This was my every day work car. M20 Muncie, 12 bolt with Summers Brothers spool and axles and 5.13 Eaton pro gears.
Professional internal mic action 😎. I like how they used real plants on the tanks
@JonathanHerman-xz6zc Very true!
That's My Favorite Engine Boss 429. I Am Thinking About Putting An Jon Kasse Boss 429 in My Dark Green 1970 Torino Fast Back it Has The Factory 302.
You don't need to capitalize every first letter but thanks for the comment.
sUCH A GLORIOUS SMELL
Това може да е мерцедес на Садам Хюсеин
I want it😂
This is same as adolf hitler car
Wow!.. what an evil sound.
Need somebody to do some carburator work
There was a very good reason why they called Ronnie sox "Mr. 4 speed" eh.
If there ever was a car aptly named , it's the boss.
man scroll. man see '02 cadillac cien. man happy.
Indeed
In more than a few clips this car sounds like it has an automatic transmission in it and not the 4 speed stick it should have.
The speedster is so cool
